Keyword Research
Keyword research is finding out what keywords or phrases that customers use to find the products you want to sell. Keyword research should be done before you build your website. I will find a product that I think I might want to sell and then go use Digital Point’s Keyword Suggestion Tool to see how many times a day customers search for that product. After I find out how many times a day customers have searched for the product, I go to Google and put in the keyword or keyphrase to see what kind of competition is out there. I like to see keywords that have atleast 200 searches a day with less than maybe 2 million competitors. I consider the above stats to be fairly easy to optimize a site for. I will talk about this more in-depth in other articles.
