Free Traffic
Sometimes I’m just not inspired to write certain articles. I have certain topics in my head that I want to eventually write about, but I have to be in the mood to write them. Just five minutes ago I saw a discussion in a forum where a person was asking how much traffic people were receiving from their signature. It inspired me to write this article.
I like to go to forums to learn from other people’s experiences and to help others by sharing my experience. Many forums will allow you to have a signature where you can put a link to your website. It can serve as ad space that you don’t have to pay for. So far this month I’ve received 61 visitors from a certain forum. That’s not huge traffic, but if you are talking in a lot of forums that allow you to have signatures the traffic adds up. The more related your website is to the forum that you are in the more potential traffic you can receive from a forum. For example I advertise this blog as a place to find dropshippers. That is appealing to many people in the forums I’m in because the forums are full of entrepreneurs. If you find forums that allow you to have a signature, advertise your site. But whatever you do, don’t spam forums. People really hate that.

Sometimes I try hard to come up with stuff to say in forums just to help promote my sig. That is a good idea to post comments in Blogs. I just visited your blog because of your comment. You have a nice blog by the way.
Thank you blonde jon. I’ve been successful in gaining a small amount of readership simply by enjoying other quality blogs. And as you mentioned, having links in your signature is another great way.

It is really good idea to get traffic… especial for new website that not ranked in search engine!
Definately a good suggestion. I’ve actually accumulated several hundred hits a month from my signature alone on forums, although it is directly related to how often you post.
Another good way to get traffic is to post comments on others blogs. This has been a good source of traffic for me as well, but can take some time. The only way you will keep those visitors from your sig/comments is if you have good content though.
