Where Do You Place Your Ads?

In my previous article I talked about researching out info on affiliate marketing and Adsense. I found a Word Press Plugin called Adsense Injection. This plugin places your Adsense ads in different spots in your posts to reduce ad blindness. I haven’t been using this plugin long enough yet to see if it has increased ad clicks. I think the concept of the plugin is great. People read from left to right, top to bottom, so theoretically ads closest to the top left should get the most clicks.

I also think it is great to place your ads in your post instead of outside of your posts because people will be forced to read around the ads. They can’t be ignored.

My question to you out there is, where do you place your ads? When you place your ads do you place them with asthetics in mind or click through rates?

The only negative about placing your ads all over the place is readability. I’m the kind of person that likes everything clean and orderly, so if I have to wade through a bunch of mumbojumbo to read an article, I will more than likely skip it all together. But hey, try it out and see how your stats do. Good luck! Oh, by the way, I absolutely love your site. - you are a genius. And where did you get your logo done? It’s very clean and original, just my style.

It’s cutting, clean, and creative - just my style!

Honetly i placed ads (not mine because now is where i’ll build a website for me) on the top incrusted on the header image…and on some spots arround the content.
how they pefrom and so on… honestly i have no idea… i was just the website builder… not the owner.

2. I don’t know the rest of the world, but i click on ads only when they are related to some need… or so me info im interested.
in example…i clicks on ads for panama real state just to see the pages desing and the properties prices… (i live in panama… so that i’ll like to know) why?? because i do have a property and i may be looking for someone to sell that in the future..
I clicks on ads when are related to information a lot… ie research about linux software replacing windows comercial software; univesity research and libraries…

to cut the mustard…. why people click on ads after all??? becuse they see somethign they may be interested…
You can’t force people to see ads; because the human been see things like a whole and put atention on specifics…

when you are reading a post; you put atention to the letters but still seen the whole page; the lay out, image and others…. so honestly for my opion ads should be on one spot where can be seen and doesn’t bother the eye.

In other words… think about where to put the ads when do the graphic design

Great comment Jimmy Lee.

Thanks bro.
I’m becoming a good repliyer !
Probably i’ll do a living on it…. LOL

I don’t have ads, but if I decide to get them eventually- I will probobly place them off to the side…for neatness like mamajoy said.

I’m playing around with my ad placement. I’m looking at sites that are doing very well with Adsense and I’m checking out where they place their ads.
