Another Reason to Comment on My Blog

Tuesday, April 17th, 2007

I just installed a WordPress plugin called Do Follow on this blog.  I didn’t know this until recently, but when you post comments on WordPress blogs, WordPress automatically puts a nofollow tag in the link. This means Google will not follow the link back to your site, which means that you will not get any link juice from the comment that you leave.  Now a comment on my blog will also give you some link love back to you.  All I ask is please don’t spam me.  :)

Global Freezing

Wednesday, April 11th, 2007

I usually don’t talk much about political stuff on here even though I do have strong political opinions, but today I just had to talk about global warming. Al Gore has been bumping his gums for quite some time about global warming. As I look outside on this fine spring day, I see what you see in this picture below. You can click on the picture to see a larger view.

According to a local weather man’s blog, it has been 69 years since Dallas has received an April snow fall. You can see his complete article here. The same weather man has stated that there have been more deaths related to the cold than the heat here in the US. Check out that article here.  The weather man backs up his claims with other factual documents.  I think Al Gore should be traveling around talking about global freezing instead of global warming, don’t you?  :)

A Few Good Sites

Monday, April 9th, 2007

From time to time you come across some people who really go above and beyond their call of duty. I’m a person who loves to award people who are honest and who are really out to serve you. If I go to a restaurant and the service really stinks, I still tip good. But if I go to a restaurant and the service is super awesome, I tip really good.

I made a particular deal with someone at DP. They offered me a deal. I gave them an offer, and they met my offer with what I feel is worth twice as much as what I offered them. They went way beyond what I thought was fair. When people are like that, I feel compelled to do twice as much back for them. With all that said, I’m going to give them some advertising here in this post, plus I will add them to my blog roll, plus I will submit this persons directories in my directory. Here are the sites that belong to this particular person:

Linkchannels.com is a PR of 4 web directory that offers regular links for $5 and featured links for $10.  Link Channels is a very clean directory to submit your sites to.  It is a good idea to submit links to PR 3 and PR 4 directories because tomorrow, they could be PR of 5 and PR of 6 directories.

Articlevibe.com is a very well organized article directory where you can submit your articles to.  I once wrote an article about link building methods.  You can read up on it at this post.

Intersted in SEO, internet, gaming, and other technology related topics, check out this tech blog.  It is very clean, easy to read, and a full of interesting information.

Submit Your Wordpress Themes

Friday, April 6th, 2007

I’ve come to realize with my schedule that I can’t spit out Wordpress themes fast enough to keep posts up at Webpuffs.net.  I’ve decided to allow the public to upload themes that they have created.  If you are a Wordpress guru and have some free themes that you are trying to distribute, feel free to submit them at my webpuffs.net site.

Webpuffs.net will be devoted to Wordpress.  I may even add a section for people to add plugins that they have created.
