My Magento Commerce Review

Sunday, March 30th, 2008

Don’t You Hate It When You Can’t Sleep?

Wednesday, March 26th, 2008

I was sleeping just fine tonight until my son woke up crying.  He’s two years old.  He woke up because he was cold.  I went in his room and put a sweat shirt on him and then covered him back up.  I tried to go back to sleep, then my mind started working like it does.  I lose so much sleep just because my mind won’t shut off!  Does anyone else have this problem?  What do you do to go sleep?  I’ve found that if I listen to my ipod that it usually puts me to sleep, but sometimes that doesn’t even help.  :)

Monday, March 17th, 2008

For those of you who are already Ebay Affiliates you know that Ebay is moving their affiliate program in-house. Ebay has been using Commission Junction and Value Click to manage their affiliate programs. For me using BANS + Ebay + Commission Junction has been the easiest affiliate program set up that I’ve been involved with. I’ve never made money so quickly with such little effort. (more…)

Having Multiples Sites With Semilar IPs

Friday, March 14th, 2008

I have multiple sites being hosted on the same C block. I’ve kept hearing over and over that Google will penalize you for that. I always wondered if this was true or not, then I found the following video by Matt Cutts. (more…)

Gimp, the Poor Man’s Photo Shop

Monday, March 10th, 2008

I’ve been using Gimp for years now. I totally recommend Gimp to those who are starting their own internet business and have a low budget. For many getting started out you don’t have a huge budget to pay a designer. Why pay out a lot of money, when you don’t have to? If you’ve, read any of my posts you would see I’m one of the biggest tight wads. My biggest reason for using Gimp is the cost, it is free :) (more…)
