The more that I play this internet game the more I see affiliate marketing is the way to go. With affiliate marketing, you don’t have to deal with customers. You don’t have to make quotes, email receipts, or answer phones. The thing about having an ecommerce type site is you really become slave to your customer. I’m very service oriented so if a customer calls in and needs a quote, I hop to it right away. If your business is open from 9 to 5, then you have to be ready and willing to serve your customers from 9 to 5. You can’t just tell a customer, “Can I call you back in about two hours? My friends and I are trying to finish a round of golf at the moment.” (more…)
